This 2-3 hour trek through Udawatta Kele offers an easy forest trail perfect for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts. Known as a birder’s paradise, you’ll spot species like Layard’s Parakeet, Yellow-fronted Barbet, and the Crimson-backed Goldenback. With luck, you may also see nocturnal birds such as the Brown Fish Owl. Frequent residents like the Little Cormorant and White-bellied Sea Eagles can also be observed.
